Participate in Biodesign

Singapore-Stanford Biodesign was designed to train and nurture the next generation of Asian medical device innovators. Our Innovation fellows are trained to build and manage multi-disciplinary teams, identify and assess clinical needs, to brainstorm, invent and evaluate concepts and ultimately commercialization to bring products to market.

The process of training an innovator is a team effort.

SSB works closely in partnership with our sponsors, community and industry affiliates to provide mentorship and guidance to our fellows as well as support for their research projects and the networking and community events for the Singapore and Asian medical technology industry.

Our partners interact with us in many ways, including:

• Sponsoring fellowships for SSB fellows
• Mentorship of our fellows and students
• Specific funding for events, programs, projects and initiatives
• Donations of equipment or materials to our SSB prototyping lab
• Speaking in our courses and community events
• Offering internships to our SSB Innovation fellows
